Schools where Econ > shittybschool: -Cornell CAS > AES
Schools where it doesn't really matter: -MIT = Sloan (job opps about same) -Emory = Goizuetta (your future is fucked no matter what)
1st Conclusion: Generally its true finance > econ at top schools 2nd Conclusion: Yes, cornell and emory are indeed TTT beyond belief. |

In other words, the op should have been more clear in saying Finance > Econ when both are offered. Comparing Finance and Econ from different schools is another thing altogether. |

And it does depend. I know a lot of people who've studied economics at schools that offer finance degrees and they've gotten better jobs because of their background in math, statistics, and econometrics. |
