Alot of time, the things taught at Harvard (and others schools) are blatant lies. Sometimes its because the professors are bitter, underpaid/represented, or not famous enough in their fields to their liking. So they fabricate truths to gain attention.
W.E.B. Dubois went to Harvard earlier on in the twentieth century. By the 70's, black admittance into higher education was mainly by choice, acceptance rate, money, and knowledge of such an attainable education. At the time, anyone to go to any college was considered well educated. But for blacks, very few could even afford Harvard, and the few that could entered through merit, and were scrutinized heavily.
And as for a black man being president of Harvard, there is currently a black woman the head of Brown University. |

1) he was the last senator still in opposition to a national holiday for Martin Luther King 2) has opposed any form of affirmative action for minorities and women despite clear and irrefutable proof of racism in all sectors of the US 3) remains deeply conservative on many social issues, despite not being embraced by soc conservs in his party 4) has shown and continues to show little understanding or regard for Joe Q Public's economic issues 5) hasn't done much outreach to non-blacks [he was forced to do it for Hispanics simply because they dominate Arizona politics as an issue] 6) Is a traditional Republican in that he favors BIG government power projected overseas (a la military adventurism, unilateral foreign policy) and ignores the positive use of government power domestically 7) He's old and the last disciple of a generation who's time has passed
