Elizabeth Glennon, Hana Byun

Published: November 26, 2006

Elizabeth Clarke Glennon and Hana Wooseok Byun were married yesterday in New York. The Rev. Gerald R. Blaszczak performed the ceremony at the Roman Catholic Church of St. Ignatius Loyola.

Mrs. Byun, 28, is a graduate student cello instructor and a fellow at the University of Michigan, where she is pursuing a doctorate of musical arts in cello performance. She graduated from Rice University and received a master’s degree in cello performance from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester.

She is a daughter of Christine Clarke Glennon and Peter J. Glennon of Southampton, N.Y. Her father is a financial adviser in Watermill, N.Y., at a branch of A. G. Edwards & Sons, the brokerage house. Her mother is a piano teacher.

Mr. Byun, 30, is studying for an M.B.A. at Columbia. He also graduated from Rice. He is the son of Kim Aesuk and Jai Sung Byun of Houston. His father runs an independent insurance agency in Houston, where his mother is the office manager.

Fat cracker Asianphile + Asian sellout whore couples should all choke on cum and die.

Oceanfront homes go for over $50 to $70 million on Gin Lane in Southampton, LI. They are just "summer cottages" and second or third homes for the New York City apartment owners. Their apartments in NYC are usually worth more.

I think it's more or less an even match just judging from the video.

Just because I think the Asian race is superior to the white race, does not mean that every Asian-white couple is the white marrying up. Even though the average Asian is superior to the average white, the deviation within the Asian/white population is still greater than the deviation between the two.

If you use Southampton as your address in your wedding announcement, it means that your primary residence is there and it's not a summer home. It's a nice area, but most year-round people aren't living in those 50 million dollar homes.

Not necessarily.

There are many year round residents in the Hamptons today, including the very rich and famous, especially in the entertainment and financial services area.

The old time residents with roots going back over 300 years and WASP, live in the back roads with their estates, not known to the public and the nouveau riche. The Jews who are relative newcomers are in East Hampton, and were even forbidden entrance into the WASP country clubs, so they Jews started their own country and golf clubs. They even started their own country day school, the Ross School, named after Ross, who was the media head of Ross-Warner. Ross is deceased.

That's changed because Rice is using race based AA in admissions again since Gratz-Bollinger. Previously, Hopwood vs. the U.of Texas, forbade race based AA, so Rice dropped its race based AA admissions policy, but Rice reinstituted raced AA atfer the US Supreme Court case.

Rice disolved its race based AA policy after the case of Hopwood versus the U.of Texas at Austin, which made illegal race preferences in public colleges. Rice did this as a private school, because it feared losing losing government monies from the state of Texas, which it was dependent on, therefore it abolished racial preferences in admissions. Read about this. Google it.

Watermill, is a hamlet, in East Hampton Township on the South Fork of L.I., NY, close to the Village of East Hampton, also in the Township, which has the most beautiful and picturesque Main Street in America. East Hampton Village's Main Street was destinated as such, by the Historical Society. As you enter the Village of E. Hampton, you are presented with a historic grave yard and a pond and as you leave Main Street, there is a historic wind mill on the end of this street also known as Route 27A or Montauk Highway.

East Hampton Township is just east of Southampton Township, where the Village of Southampton is located and this is the oldest villiage incorporated in the state of NY in the early 1600's.

The Eastman School of Music at Rochester is a highly prestigious school for the study of piano. I know undergraduates who turned down Harvard College's offer of admission to attend the Eastman School. Elizabeth made a good choice to pursue her PhD. In fact, I know of one Harvard College graduate very well who got his PhD from the Eastman School.

Columbia Graduate School of Business and an MBA will also help Hana get on the fast track in the financial services industry. This school is in the T5 of Graduate Business schools.

In other words, Hana will be making in excess of $170,000, on the average, plus bonus, as soon as he gets his MBA from Columbia to start in the financial services industry, while Elizabeth will be pursuing her artistic and musical talents at Eastman and after. For Hana, the sky is the limit as far as what he earns, especially if he stays in NYC.

Depends on which ranking.

The Financial Times of London and Business Week rank Columbia B-School higher, usually in the Top 5 or higher.

In any case Columbia B-School graduates start out with higher salaries and total compensation than most top schools MBA's because many grads stay in NYC.

Someone ought to write this couple and tell them that an insecure East Asian supremacist is posting their wedding announcement on a board populated by various social misfits.

This announcement was read by everyone in the world on NYTimes on-line. A posting on a forum with a clique of racist white wannabe prestige whores in a little club here would not make any difference, especially when there are no new readers or posters coming on board. This board overestimates its importance, with a bunch of ignorant wannabes.

Speak to aznaznazn and the NYTimes. The Times has millions of readers.
