Date: December 31st, 2006 3:20 AM Author: Mind-boggling wagecucks Subject: question re myspace i just had an attractive (not a 10 but maybe an 8 from what i can see) girl mssg me randomly on myspace. similar academic background and same age. its just weird bc its random (i dont know her and she doesnt know any of my friends). this is rare for girls to do--i never have this happen and i'm a good looking guy (6'2, athletic, brown hair, blue eyes) and have plenty of girls in real life. my q. is, does this constitute prima facie evidence that she is a slut? her actual random message was "i wish you were my opposing counsel" (she = also an attorney). my profile is rudimentary, just lists my Vault 100 law firm, my UG school, my L school, and my PhD program, has a link to several published papers, and pictures of me with my guy friends and ex gf. very tame and nondescript (so even if a sr partner saw it or something it raises absolutely no questions). also im 26 and all my friends have a basic myspace and facebook profile which we use in lieu of email a lot of times. so anyway, to me having a profile =/= soliciting females (not that i mind if hot girls who want to bang me start mssging me), its just something all my friends and i have for amusement and communication/photo sharing
how rare is it for a girl to randomly mssg a guy and does it mean shes a slut (see mssg above)? |

Date: December 31st, 2006 3:27 AM Author: Mind-boggling wagecucks i am doing the master's portion now... i have classes only on fridays. i lateraled to this firm from STB in NYC. i am not partner-track, nor do i want to be. i billed slightly over 1900 hrs in 2006 and my target was 1800, so i was fine.
i work in DC and drive out to charlottesville on fridays. i am @ UVA for grad school. i would tell you what grad program im in but its too small and would give away my ID.
i work long hours still, but my job now = antitrust. i am not doing the heavy lifting corp work anymore. i specialize in Rodino filings and 2nd requests. i travel a lot to the clients (which could be any day of the week, i just have to go on site and dig through their treasure trove to find the magic docs that DOJ needs to approve the merger)
do you have a thought on the underlying question?
btw, i am new as of yesterday, although i used to post on jdjive.com when i was in L school. im not a fan of kubricks work either, having only seen 1 of his movies (Eyes Wide Shut)

i actually have a 2nd apartment for when i need to be in cville. its down JPA where you make the 90* turn and go past dirty nellie's, etc. rent in cville is mad cheap
cville is an ok town, made me appreciate the east coast though... sometimes it can be hick-like. at which point i get on 29 N and head for civilization |
