Harvard = Mercedes (the gold standard)

Yale = BMW (a much more fun experience, but still #2)

Princeton = Porsche (deluxe, nichy, not really in the race with the top two)

Penn = Lexus (high class ride with stellar quality (breadth and depth), but an arriviste & people still don't give it enough credit)

Columbia = Jaguar (steeped in tradition & prestige, has big negatives that define its character)

Brown = Saab (moves to its own beat, still impossibly chic)

Cornell = Cadillac (thoroughly American in outlook, big, muscular yet still luxe)

Dartmouth = Corvette (red blooded American, the classic "white frat guy" dream machine)

good call....

Chicago - Volvo (quiet prestige, the intellectual's car - no other car would be appropriate)

Duke - Acura (sporty luxe, well designed, high gloss)

H - Mercedes, the layman's gold standard

Y - Maybach, perceived exclusive prestige

P - Rolls Royce

Col - new beetle ca. 1999, every high school girl's dream

Penn - Lexus, great machine, but solidly for the salaried

D - Cadillac, the all-american; maybe a land rover, for the outdoorsiness

B - old beetle

Cor - Toyota

Stan - ferrari, the bling with the (alleged) lifestyle

MIT - SAAB, the company got its start as an aerospace thing

Chi - Volvo before 2004, ugly as sin, performs with the best

Duke - Infiniti, not as good as they sell them to be, but better than people give it credit for

WashU - jaguar x-type

Harvard -- Rolls Royce (expensive, high maintenance car. Largely ornamental rather than performance driven with many comparably equipped competitors)

Yale -- H-1 Humvee. Government-manufactured, over-bearing nuisance that is irritating to be around particularly in heavy traffic. Its profile almost entirely dependent on saturation level of government hype.

Princeton -- MG. A car so fussy it’s to the point of being silly.

UPenn -- Wells Fargo Armored Car (but one that picks up deposits from pre-robed 7-11 stores.

Columbia -- MTA Local No. 1 Train. Gets you where you need to go quickly but after hitting every bump in the ttracks.

Dartmouth -- Any randomly selected Snow Mobile. Regional, non-descript and very nothing special.

Brown -- a green Prius with an Obama bumper sticker.

Cornell -- Pogo stick
