Good riddance. Those vultures in polos knock on my door almost weekly. I’ve started siccing my dog on them. I hope they all go back to their mall kiosk jobs or whatever and cry.

They scam those guys hard, don't pay them for long stretches, the commissions are not what they claim. It's a terrible gig and I feel bad for them.

For me I get these calls everyday from Filipinos asking if I want solar. It's insane.

the whole concept of people doing elective surgery on their houses beyond basic asthetics like paint is ridiculous if they arent centimillionaires.

So what, you just plug the cells into some large batteries you own and run your shit off those. They don’t just stop working.

the batteries are wildly inefficient compared to the cost -- everyone i've talked to said if you do solar don't get the battery unless you live in a rural area or something

you absultely have to do research and a cost/benefit analysis when you buy them but the key is to buy like four or five of them at once when theyre on sale then hook them up to industrial strength trickle chargers that are already hooked up to your municipal power lines. that way they wont die from lack of use when you go out of town.

Battery prices have fallen by 60%+ over the last 2-3 years, the math is very different today and prices continue to fall because Lithium prices have dropped 90%

Also, a big issue was that an off-grid setup didn't qualify for the credit. With no credit, go for the off-grid setup.

The panels themselves stop working after several years, require regular cleaning and maintenance, and now the warranties are useless and prices for Chinese junk without the subsidy will cum down. Nice purchase friend

it kind of made sense before because there was a 30% tax credit, payback period of ~6-7 years. but now with no warranties as the companies go out of business, yeah, no bueno...

solar is 180, my system will pay itself off in another 3 years or so having been in service for about 3 already, the panels are made in canada and the "maintenance" required is to occasionally hose them off, and like usual paralegal mohammed is a full retard low IQ arab that has no idea what he's talking about

TITCR. Dear goyim please pay us $30k for plastic panels we purchased from China for $5 each that we'll pay Hector and his crew of 2 illegals $1500 to install, and if you do that Uncle Sam will give you a $5k "credit" but don't ask what will happen as solar adoption increases, the pensions local utilities have promised their thousands of faithful workers will magically stay funded and the utility won't increase its fees at all! Good luck!

It's always the people who fall for scams that attempt to denigrate those that identify the scam before them.

if you own the panels and live in a state with high utility costs, it can make a lot of sense.

even if you lease, what are these companies going to do when they go under? come and take the panels off your house? no, they'll sell their assets for pennies on the dollar
