Thanks to AI I finally intuitively understand relativity. Not just “this is what relativity says is true” but now I get WHY it’s true and can answer questions about “what if observer A is doing X and observer B is doing Y?” It’s like having my own personal tutor tailored to my specific brand of retardation

that’s just a rebranded version of penrose’s andromeda paradox to illustrate length contraction rather than time dilation. the pole, which is longer than the barn when at rest in the same frame as the barn, is in motion moving towards the barn. from the barn’s perspective the pole’s motion contracts the geometry of spacetime in the direction of the pole’s motion thereby causing the pole to become short enough to fit inside the barn. but from the pole’s perspective the BARN is in motion and IT is length contracted making it too short for it to ever be large enough for the pole to fit inside it. both things are true. the resolution is relatively of simultaneity which means from barn’s perspective there actually is a moment that the pole would fit inside the barn, and from the pole’s perspective there is no point at which it ever could fit inside the barn. the kicker is that things don’t just APPEAR this way from each observer’s perspective, but rather its a true statement about the nature of reality actually being different for each observer. pass?

For some reason time dilation didn't take me that long to grasp but length contraction and specifically the barn paradox I struggled with a lot more. Even though they're the same thing, since they're necessary to explain each other

ive noticed that the thing length contraction examples tend to leave out or not explain very well is that it isn’t just the length of the object in motion that contracts, but also the length of spacetime itself in the direction of the moving object’s motion infinitely in both directions (in front AND behind)

Yeah, cr. Good insight. I think the spatial aspect of it is what was more difficult for me. Since we are actually (trying to) model a physical picture of spatial contraction in our heads, whereas time dilation is logically abstracted

What about cunt dilation? I remember back in the day Julia famously said vaginas are elastic. But now you can have AI diagram it as a degenerate sheaf with failed gluing conditions after local sections can no longer cohere due to catastrophic trauma

Below 85 and over 160. AI is too far above 145 and 145 should be aware enough to know its much smarter than you. I remember reading a study months ago that o3 was tested to be equal to a 160 iq human, and Elon Musk has stated Grok 4 maxes out the GRE general every time without having seen the questions and all of the subject tests too. LOL at 145 (or any human) doing that.

But law is not based on “intelligence” it’s all feels based tribal political bs made up by chimps. When you say “this law brief is good” you just mean it looks like it was written by a well groomed chimp who grew up UMC and attended Harvard. Has nothing to do with ability to do category theory and write advanced code.

Yes so odd that a machine which can simulate turbulent plasma and optimize quantum topologies in 11 dimensions isn’t calibrated to file a motion to dismiss in the exact cadence of a Dartmouth legacy with a bar membership and a dad who owns a lake

If you were a doubter at gpt 2 that’s understandable that thing was garbage. But GPT 5 hell no. Only thing it needs to improve is writing fluency. But the limits now are probably caused by compute limits and guardrails. When o1 first came out I remember it being better at writing others have said the same. 4.5 too.

If you consider "knowing about AI" knowing about how to train models then sure. But there are people who "know about AI" that don't know how to use pytorch. Someone who is high iq and uses it all day long definitely knows stuff about AI regardless if they understand loss functions and optimization
