Had No Idea Sidewalks Made By Pouring Concrete, Not Placing Down Huge Slabs

i asked half-goy wife why they don't just bring in whole slabs of concrete and put them down like they do when they originally build the sidewalks. she looked at me like i was an idiot.
i always thought they just brought in huge rectangles of concrete to make sidewalks. i had no fucking clue they literally poured wet concrete and sat there and smoothed it inch by inch and waited for it to dry. what in the fuck. is this common knowledge? |
