We had a hotel near the train station on our last night, and my wife was like "let's go back to the center city again for one last night."
We got to the subway - and its like 90% muslim. Decide to go with it. Come back from dinner a little early and its a full on march like the above and we just stay in our hotel rooms hiding from suicide bombers until our train leaves - which my wife now wants a taxi to take us the 2 blocks because she's nervous to walk outside through all the shouting and marching.
There's two distinct worlds in these Euro countries and i'm not sure how long the traditional one will be able to exist. |
