I've been separated from my wife for nearly a year and have actually semi-seriously dated 4-5 different chicks virtually all of whom had some level of issue that prevents them from being wife material, whether that be insecurity issues, psycho issues, nightmares to be with long term, etc.

I do think his approach is wrong headed for the latter reason, but I could well be factually wrong. Morally, I'm right and everyone should be content with what their lives at a certain point, rather than always seeking something better. Our hearts are restless etc. You're not going to find a perfect wife.
