Date: November 2nd, 2025 12:29 PM Author: walnut halford these aren't bots, there are for sure some great musicians making these using AI, but they don't need to hire any instrumentalists or technicians to do it any more. that's why these youtube ai artists are cranking out a new song every day, it's so quick and cheap now and the quality is top notch.
i saw a comment on one that said something like "musicians of the future won't play instruments" and i think that's right. it's all about production and arrangement now. it always was, but you had to hire people to get it right. now you can easily simulate any sound. there are no limits anymore. the issue will be wading through the endless oceans of content. but someone will surely rise to the top eventually and they'll be able to create anything they dream up in an afternoon. and once they find a hit, they can recreate it a thousand times in a week. i think we're about to get totally desensitized to amazing music. |

apparently there was a big update to suno recently that has allowed for all of this. you can AI and modify every instrument now, not just the entire track. you can feed it a riff or vocal melody and it will orchestrate around it and you can tweak every "instrument". pretty nuts. |
