Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) said Wednesday he would “absolutely not” vote for former President Trump over President Biden in November, pointing to Trump’s foreign policy views and his character.

“No. No, no, absolutely not,” Romney told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins on “The Source” when asked whether he would support Trump over Biden.

U.S.

Mormons cutting ties with Boy Scouts, ending long alliance

May 9, 2018 / 3:37 AM EDT / AP

SALT LAKE CITY -- The Mormon church said Tuesday it will sever all ties with the Boy Scouts of America at the end of next year and place its remaining 425,000 boys into a gospel-focused youth program it is developing. The move ends a nearly century-old relationship that was based on their shared values.

The announcement by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and Boy Scouts didn't come as a complete surprise after the religion last year removed 185,000 boys between the ages of 14 and 18, signaling that an end to the long-time alliance was near.

Joining the Boy Scouts is practically automatic among Mormon boys, and the religion has long been the biggest sponsor of Boy Scout troops in the United States. The Mormon boys who will be leaving represent about 18.5 percent of the 2.3 million youths in the organization.

mormons aren't cucks, bitch

James Mattis: The former Secretary of Defense, a retired Marine Corps general, criticized Trump’s leadership style and lack of understanding of international relations. Mattis stated that Trump was "the first president in my lifetime who does not try to unite the American people"1.

Rex Tillerson

Rex Tillerson: As Trump’s former Secretary of State, Tillerson reportedly referred to Trump as a “moron” during his tenure. Although he later denied using that exact term, he did express concerns about Trump’s decision-making and leadership1.

Anthony Scaramucci

Anthony Scaramucci: Although he served as White House Communications Director for only ten days, Scaramucci has been vocal about his belief that Trump is “unfit” for the presidency. He has consistently criticized Trump’s behavior and policies2.

“I will have to wait to see what the situation is and I will pick my poison at that point,” Barr said."

but your responses, at least the ones i looked at, were old and the barr one didn't support your assertion.

nikki will support trump, i think. we'll see.

if you want to develop your claim with recent evidence, please do. but when trump 'lost' in 2020, his november 2020 actions really alienated a lot of people who bailed on him.

the uniter, joe biden, must have won fair and square and he'd bring sanity back to the world

let's just agree that what was expected with biden did not occur

who his staff will vote for isn't the point--it's support for the implied argument that he's unfit to be potus, which i guess is slightly weakened if you downgrade "they're all voting for biden" to "he's the only president who's ever been publicly called nauseating/unfit by everyone who worked in his administration."

contrast with a principled conservative who doesn't like trump, bill barr

"In an interview with Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom,” Barr, who has previously also called into question Trump’s fitness to serve, still thinks Biden and his policies represent a greater threat to the U.S.

“Well, I’ve said all along, you know, given two bad choices, I think it’s my duty to pick the person I think would do the least harm to the country and in my mind that’s — I will vote the Republican ticket,” Barr said. “I will support the Republican ticket.”

Barr suggested Biden is pursuing a progressive agenda, which he described as “the real danger to the country, the real danger to democracy.”

“Trump may be playing Russian roulette but a continuation of the Biden administration is national suicide in my opinion,” he added.

Barr, who stood by Trump for most of the time he served in the Department of Justice, resigned from the administration in December 2020 after he gave an interview to The Associated Press saying the DOJ had found no evidence to support Trump’s claims of widespread voter fraud in that year’s presidential contest."
