Bill Maher has been pretty good on this topic where he mocks scientists about how its just as dumb to believe everything was contained in something the size of a quarter as it is to think god created the world in 7 days.
The amount of certainty that scientist say shit like "the earth is 6 billion years old" and "this dinosaur was a scavenger until 200 million years ago it developed feathers and became a bird!"
No one has ever explained to them what a black swan is, and that when you're using tools to try and figure out something *you* think happened 7 billion years ago - there's a pretty good chance you're calculations aren't accounting for something that you've never thought of.
