I have never lived anywhere long term where it's a main language. And there's too much memorization. My grammar is fine but my vocab is inept. I can't remember what the words mean they all sound so similar. I think I've crested the 'hard' stage though. Just too much memorization and I'd have to live there for like two years. But German isn't that hard. After a lot of real world practice and repetition you get used to it. The noun casings isn't that bad. For me the hard part is vocab. Is betreildigungen a word? Maybe not but you couldn't tell. They all sound exactly the same. |
