Freak house fire nearly killed my buddy last night

Date: May 5th, 2026 4:12 PM Author: Claude Debussy Bud I go back with over 20 years and was my partner when we'd have to horse around in front of the guys just almost got burnt alive in a house fire. He said he wasnt feeling well and mixed some nyquil with xanax to pass out. Said he grabbed his weighted blanket and passed out in the tub thinking it was his bed. it was one of those 66 in. double ended clawfoot bathtubs. Said he remembered it was hot as hell when he woke up and he felt feverish and then BAM his tub crashed straight through the floor onto the floor below and he looked up and all he could see was flames. By the time the fire had got to the second floor the first floor was completely burnt out so he was able to safely land in a pile of ash |
