But now, "fans" don't watch the games. They just follow the drama of all these basketball players on Twitter and the news stories and the speculation. People don't give a shit about SGA and have no interest in watching OKC vs Indiana - they want to talk about if Bronny James is unfair nepotism and they want to argue about where Kevin Durant might be traded.
The WNBA is arguably better than the NBA at this now. Caitlin Clark / Angel Reese is 10x better than any storyline in the NBA. At this point is it really less compelling if Cameron Brink is demanding a trade or Giannis? At least Cameron Brink looks hot in the picture on the news story. |
