If I can make the same working 8am-9pm shift as 6pm-4am discuss. I do 122nights. Plan to do 100 such days and the rest 8am-5pm. One perk is I can take a 1hr break during the day

My current night time fulltime is 1220hrs per year. If I work fulltime days I'll be doing 1710hours. During days however I will be taking 1 hr breaks each day to go to the gym or beach. Since I can't do that overnight, change 1710 into 1520 hours. Still work 25% more.

I'm not talking about equivalent hours. But objectively this day job is better. The other thing that makes me uneasy my current job gave me a laptop and doesn't care I'd I log in from Hawaii or NYC and keep my Florida address on file. I.e. if I bought a place in Hawaii I could work evenings from there. But this job will probably send me a huge desktop and will freak out if I log in from nyc. I plan to call them up on Monday before signing and ask them how are they going to accommodate me if I buy a summer place in Michigan. I don't even mention nyc because they probably don't allow work from jew states.

My current night job is the only fulltime job I held since residency. But I've been doing moonlighting side jobs. I.e. I have a California job where I can continue to do shifts 8pm-1am weekdays and 5pm-9pm sa/su. Have a other job in Alabama 5pm-9pm. And a job in Georgia I might need to give up.

What's your target NW to either (1) retire or (2) hold down a single job with roughly 9-5pm hours?

Plan on getting married and having kids?

Are you married or dating someone serious?

If no, do you have time to date with your schedule?

If not actively dating, makes most sense to find something with a regular schedule so you can date -- in furtherance of foal of babydood-making-via-penis-in-vagina.

Easier to go to tenerife or or Thai or malaga with a whore when you have regular 2weeks off.. weekends off is most useful for those that are coparenting with a shrew that also works fulltime and never travel anywhere..

I'm confused. What's your plan for producing babydoods. Presumably not to produce them with a thai whore.

How do you tell your boss you're leaving? I'm working overnight with him this week. So next week I sign the contract. And then I text him before submitting resignation notice to hr?
