I figured, well if it's 1/3 off that about brings the price down to half reasonable. Went to the place and ordered about $35 worth of food. The damn lady "honored the coupon" but only for $2.27, not $10. Then asked for a tip. I tipped her nothing. Took the food home. It was all shit. Restaurants suck. They don't honor coupons. I could have stuck it to her or cancelled my order, but I wanted to see if it was any good. It just sucked. They will be out of business by Christmastime. |

Kids and adults in neighborhoods would just knock on people's doors and "pop in".
People would knock on the door selling shit and people would just invite them into their homes and listen. |

a lot of people genuinely are not aware just how high-trust white societies were before the revolution in the 2nd half of the 20th century (it's most accurate to call it a revolution). for non-whites in particular, it's pretty much physiologically impossible for them to imagine what it was like - they have no frame of reference, even internally, for what that level of general social trust looks and feels like |
