GROK: The $62 million Phillip Beard Stadium at Buford High School was funded through ESPLOST, a voter-approved 1% sales tax for educational capital projects in Buford City Schools. The City of Buford managed construction payments, reimbursed by these funds. |

Big time Friday night lights gets more people than say Valdosta state. Even some lower level d1 schools don’t get the attendance of high school games.
