Short answer: yes.
Long answer:
any one law (unless it was like "abolish the ownership of private property") wouldn't be the death of america.
if we were pretty much ONLY stupid on socialized healthcare, but were laissez faire in other areas, it wouldn't be a huge deal. i think hong kong has some socialized health care stuff, and they're doing alright i think?
obamacare PILED ON TOP of our existing debt and entitlements/giveaways/regulations will probably destroy all hoap, however.
THE FUTURE:
in a couple of decades the Dems will have established total electoral hegemony, regularly cruising to 350EV+ victories with even Texas having been turned blue due to underlying demographic changes. Instead of discussions of serious entitlement reform, the only political conversations will be which faction of the Democratic party should be appeased most this year, and whether the capital gains rate should be raised to 60% or 70%. 2/3 or more of all voters will vote not based on issues but which candidate "feels for people like them" the most, and the Dems will win over those emotional type voters overwhelmingly.
eventual, the economy/society will collapse, as people take to fighting in the streets and commie/fascist movements gain currency, as is happening in greece. some states may try and pull away, but they'll be crushed by the overwhelming might of the dying remnants of the US Federal Government. At least while those remnants exist, shortly before society totally collapses and we slip into a new dark age.

God you sound dumb.
How the fuck is a state going to secede from the Gov't and still function without Fed resources/benefits?
What, they are going to pay to fix THEIR OWN interstates?

Not surprising you would make a post this stupid and wrong.
1) Obamacare != "Government run healthcare", it is a fucking mutation that has the worst of both socialized care and corporatist care.
2) The Swiss and especially Singapore systems are VERY different vs. American system (or even the Canadian and UK versions).
3) As others have said, Obamacare on its own is not horrible, if the government is not also fucking other things up. Singapore does a pretty good job in managing and staying out of other aspect of the economy, America and its government do not. Likewise, with Mass, it can afford to handle this because of its demographics, wealth and the fact that it is much easier to manage the bureaucracy of something like the ACA when it is over 6M instead of 320M people. The situation with No Child Left Behind is similar: Could work out alright when manged over 6M people but fails miserably when you try and implement over 320M.
Spend 30 seconds THINKING before you post moronic comparisons of apples and oranges.

Plenty of times, the reality however is that the majority position on this bort is shitlib so most Republican positions are already sufficiently attacked. I have however still attacked their positions on unions, gay marriage, etc. Infact in this very thread I attack the current corporatist HC regime which is most certainly a Republican position.
What amazes me is that half of you think I am a reptile, the other half think I am an aspie who applies libertarian principles too far. Which is it?

Basically an attack against both the Dem and Repub stances
Unions: The idea of collective bargaining is 100% fine and the early anti-union actions (union busters, etc) were totally inappropriate. That being said, unions should not be afforded special legal bennies. That means not be allowed the block private property, force employers to deal with them, stop employers from firing people. etc.
GM: The government should have no role in defining or controlling marriage.
