180 good for your getting out there and living the Hawaiin dream.
What's up with all the people out there floating in the water not actively surfing?

Whoever's "deepest" in the wave has priority (meaning closest to where the wave first starts breaking). And most waves break to the left or to the right, so that one guy will have priority going left and another going right.
And when you paddle back out, you're supposed to go to the back of the line on the outside, and let the other people who are now deeper than you go.
It's not a perfect system and there's often bickering about who had priority on a given wave, but it's good enough.
And yeah, on slow days there's a lot of sitting around and (A) waiting for a set to come in, and (B) waiting for your turn in the priority. It's fun when it's warm and you can talk to people and look at girls' butts while you wait.

180. as a shit, beginner 3 surfer at best that looks like a fun, mellow, long ride. I've heard Maui is basically giant slabs and apparently mellow beginner waves. highly, highly 180
you're on an 8'0? your board looks to have the same volume as my Vernor.
I could probably ride that long going straight, maybe occasionally actually pulling into the right like you. but no nose riding for me just yet. how long have you been surfing?

damn man. 10' and 23 lbs. about as big as my baby mama
i surf the cold waters of the Bay Area. it's not for the faint of heart. November saw some 180^180 swell hopefully it continues into December. but I long for the warm waters of Mexico or Hawaii
if possible, consider taking your kids surfing. as you may already know. getting dottir into surfing is the best thing i've ever done. just bought her her first 7' soft top
180 man now I can't wait to go surfing next (likely this weekend booo). stay rad out there bro!

Ever see any tiger sharks or ride by them?
Where’s the best spot for wingfoiling? I heard there’s a spot by kahala and Kailua is cr.
Guy i know who launches from kahala just rides the tradewind to town basically he said
Is there beef between the wingfoilers and surfers, I know on some other places they won’t let them ride till like late morning

180
I also look forward to seeing you out at bowls next summer where I will purposely drop in on you and then feign complete ignorance when later confronted on the beach.
