Down for drinks if Evan can get away from whatever deal he’s leading. Current plan is:
Thur: prob jetlagged AF
Fri: Space Needle, Boeing, Pike Place, dinner my buddy organized + out
Sat: Bucks v. Wash + out
Sun: Mariners v Dodgers + TBD
Reasonable?

It's pretty sick that your dad foots the bill for this when you're 43.

i don't know man. you're coming off as bitter here.
i'm sure RSF can afford a domestic airline ticket to Seattle in the off season plus lodging, food drinks, and a football ticket.
it's not really that much money. it's also perfectly common for dudes to travel around during the fall during CFB season. you should just stfu

I was there twice and liked walking around going to breweries and bars but you might be too cool for that.
Enjoy the game. I saw a game there once and liked the venue. It’s not going to be an easy one for the Bucks.

Space Needle is lame. Boeing = Museum of Flight? What steakhouse? Seattle is a weird eating town. A lot of the fancier places suck.

Metropolitan Grill has been around forever. Sides and apps were always better than steak imo. Solid crab cake and oyster service and good drinks.
I’ve heard they have bumped up their dry aging program but i left long before that happened. Solid vibes there. Good spot for the boys.

Yeah Seattle didn’t have a lot of worthy high end dining at its peak, and the SF invasion has really shittified that even further.
I similarly can’t think of a high end place I’d recommend. The bar at Canlis is great but Canlis proper is too inconsistent for its price point. Seattle is about eating great quality seafood and drinking very good wine and beer. That doesn’t need to be in a fine dining space.

Pulling up crab traps full of dungeness and sacks full of oysters is god tier living
The summer produce is outstanding too. The restaurants in Seattle are doing faggy shit to impress tech bros and gooks. They need to take those awesome ingredients and get out of their way.
