In the North East, it's really common to send kids away at a camp they stay at for the entire summer. Outside of the North East, this is way less common. camp is such a generic term that it could mean a sleepaway camp for high school kids for the entire summer, or it could mean some 1st grade stem day camp. there's no harm in being more descriptive. |
