Two of my middle sons are close in age so they play on the same local travel team. One of my kids was on first and the other was on third. While the pitcher was standing on the mound but off the rubber my son on first sprints like 5 steps to second then falls on his back and starts screaming ahhh at the top of his lungs. The pitcher looks and takes like three quick steps towards him and thinks about throwing it to first. While this is happening my son on third sprints home. The pitcher turns and launches it like 10 feet over the catchers head. My son at third scores and my other son gets to second.

I walked off and said “Jesus Christ.” Everyone told me no that was a great play. I’m like this is bush league shit they saw on the Internet. This is after my son on first hit a home run the other day and watched it and I told him you’re lucky the pitcher didn’t put one in the next batters ear.

Instagram is ruining baseball. This is middle school/early HS age kids.

My wife is saying I’m being too hard and that I’m an “unc” but this isn’t the game I grew up loving.

Sports are incredibly faggified. Jockstraps are probably made by lululemon now and resemble g-strings.

You're right. It's highly bush league. You definitely want to discourage those sorts of shenanigans, especially in a real game. Messing around with your friends is OK.

Was the son on first pretending to be injured? It's LL, so umps could have just called time and ended it there.

On the HR--why should the pithcer have beaned the next batter? Was your son showboating?
