mcdonalds is like taco bell to me in that there is some je nais se quois about them that isn't captured anywhere else. there are legit local burger spots and taquerias near me but there is something so nostalgic and wonderfully prole about a double cheeseburger or supreme hard shell.
there's a mcdonalds 1/4 mile from me in white people land staffed with whites, primarily perky teens. this means that the food is actually good and going there is a pleasant and nostalgic experience. i try not to go more than ~2x a month but the convenience factor is huge. if i'm rushing out and want to get a hot coffee without getting out of the car it's the go-to and of course im gonna treat myself to a BOGO mcmuffin too! |

I was actually on the way to get BOGO mcmuffins, but had to charge my phone. I have the same opinion regarding Taco Bell and Mcdonalds, where its something you just can't get anywhere else. I don't care if it isn't technically considered "good food" or whatever, mcdonalds and taco bell are a true 180 if done right. Only problem is they fuck me over with my order even more often than other fast food places. Hadn't been there in ages and I actually stopped there last week to get a crunchwrap breakfast sandwich and the kid couldn't figure out how to turn on the coffee machine and had me pull over to the side, and by the time he brought it out to me, I was already done eating. Then as I was driving away I took a sip and realized they didnt even put cream in sugar in it like I asked. Shit pissed me off. Very few white people working at these places where I'm at nowadays. Mostly hispanics and some blacks and the whites that are there are trash. where i'm at there is a very short distance between mansion country and prole/brown town. the mcdonalds is in whitepeople land and the taco bell is on the other side of the tracks. the difference in food quality and service cannot be understated. going to the whitepeople mcdonalds is like taking a time machine back to the 90s. the tacobell is your standard experience of misassembled food and the order being incorrect 50%+ of the time. i'll still hit it up but only when i'm having an irresistable taco bell craving. there's a chick-a-fila in the same prole shopping center that is still staffed by perky white "my pleasure" teens. but it's clear from the persistent decay in the area that it's only a matter of time... |

Eventually they figured it out and imposed a minimum purchase amount but it took them like years. |

The real masculine full size alpha flagship burger is the double quarter pounder. i even remember the first one i ever ate. i was 15 and had just finished a shift at mcdonalds. one of the nice latina women in the kitchen handed it to me as i was leaving. earlier in the day she passed me a crispy chicken sandwich with a wink.
The burger was as fresh and greasy as they come and i ate it sitting on the curb in the mcdonalds parking lot waiting for my mom to pick me up. it changed my life and i will never forget that moment. |

but yeah the dbl qpc is a bountiful beast. they'll have a tough time skin-suiting that one since they put the weight right in the name and if they moved to frozen beef people would go ape. the 1/4lb patties taste noticeably different than the regular patties. it's a wide burger and probably the size of what the original big mac was. and like i was saying above about the original whooper, it's the closest thing mcdonalds sells to a legit burger you'd make at home. just a YUGE 1/2lb of meat with limited toppings. cot damn.
i can't wait to see how ZOG ruins it. no matter how shitty they make the bread, toppings, cheese, beef i don't see how 1/2lb of 100% cow can ever be bad. but, knowing them, they'll find a way. |
