But my goodness, is Doom 64 the truth. It’s a frenetic frenzy of fabulousness. This is no mere port of Doom. It’s quite a different game with drastically different levels.
At the time Doom 64 came out, few people cared about it. The Nintendo 64’s terrible controller wasn’t doing it any favours.
But now that it’s been ported to PC—where you can finally experience it with a keyboard and mouse—it’s a much better experience. And yeah, it makes that much of a difference
