You're not making cranberry sauce correctly. Here's how to properly make 180 cranberry sauce that could be served at a 3 star restaurant if you kike it up:
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
1/2 cup water
12 oz fresh cranberries (rinsed)
pinch of salt
1 cinnamon stick
1 piece of orange peel
1. Combine sugar, OJ, and water in large saucepan over medium heat. Stir to combine.
2. Add cranberries, salt, cinnamon stick, and orange peel.
3. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently.
4. Continue cooking for about 10 min or until most of the cranberries have popped.
5. Let cool for at least 30 min. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
