I don't think humanity is ready for the onslaught of fake imagery we're going to have to deal with for the rest of our lives. Yeah, it's been possible to crate convincing fake images for decades now with Photoshop and the world didn't end. But good Photoshop was so time-consuming that you wouldn't bother doctoring an image without a good reason to in the first place.
This AI shit, the image generation can be completely automated and A/B tested to see what people respond the best to. |
