The whole film is a procedural escalation — containment breach, boardroom panic, executive (Picard) succumbing to revenge-based scope creep, then barely walking it back before the quarterly report hits.
Even the Zefram Cochrane subplot is just DEI theater for the timeline: we put a drunk in charge of humanity’s future because the documentation said it worked once. |
