When the French Revolution intercepted Louis XVI's letters to the other monarchies in Europe he essentially said I own everything in this country and the Revolution is insane. the intent of the hypo is to ask why he has to tip for something that is so easy to do (bring wine which the restaurant already gets bottled) as opposed something he perceives as harder to do (bring food which the restuarant has to make)
