full retirement probably $10m. we are at $2.5m in retirement accounts and around 500k in taxable investment accounts. we have enough that i'd be comfortable cutting back to a lower paying job anytime because by the time we are 60, the 2.5 mil should be well over 10 million.
my current plan is to do the firm another 3 years and then either hang out a shingle as a labor arbitrator or go in house. not sure about the latter bc i haven't had a boss in 7 years and i don't react well to someone having authority over me. we'll see what unfolds.
