Should have kept the tariffs solely on China plus a few other countries that serve as a back door for Chinese exports like Vietnam.

While I have sympathy for his long term goals and worries over the deficit and am open to major tariffs on China and arguments that we need to suffer pain now to prevent a much worse pain down the road, the way this was done is something I will never forget. Sure, technically I lost a lot of money in the last few days but it's all funny money. More worried about setting in trends for a real recession. And it's hard to gain trust again once something like this happened.

Maybe I'll be singing a different time a year from now and thinking my god the man has major balls. But right now I'm just furious.

Whoa, weird how tariffs are retarded and an obviously terrible policy decision when America enacts them... even though we're the target of a ton of tariffs that have been implemented against us by many other countries (who apparently seem to think they're actually a pretty smart idea and have had them in place against us for decades in many cases so it almost seems like they've been working out pretty nicely for those countries).

Sory of like how border security is an impossible complex problem and walls simply don't work here in America... even though a lot of other countries seemed to have come up with some pretty solid solutions, many of which involve walls.
