At one point, Auschwitz had six orchestras - the largest of which, in Auschwitz I, consisted of 50 musicians. A women’s orchestra in Auschwitz-Birkenau was made up of 36 members and 8 transcribers under the musical direction of the singer Fania Fénelon.

i also remember when elie wiesel, a jewish child who was completely useless so he couldnt be put to work, lived in auschwitz with his dad.
then his dad needed medical care so they took him to the hospital and doctors treated him.
then the nazis told elie the russians were coming so the germans were peacing out, did he want to come with or get soviet occupied?
and then elie was like "good looking out, hans. let's roll."
and then elie left with the nazis rather than be liberated by the soviet union.
i forget what happened after that, but i assume after he wrote this book he was put into a spacetime machine to an alternate universe where he and his dad prayed for the russians to come but instead were murdered by germans for being kikes unfit to work.

To be fair,
Yeah but they were ONLY allowed to play Liszt's "Totentanz"
Checkmate, antisemitic assholes.

That's the great thing about going to camp and not having any bills to pay. Lots of time to really go full bore on your hobbies.
Granted some of them may have wracked up some debt at the brothels but hey.
