Europe is so cucked. On the plus side, I do like the companion S which is an Alox version (aluminum scales which make it slimmer) of the jetsetter because no blade means I don’t have to remember to take it off my keys when I go to a secured location or fly or whatever.

just keep a fucking multitool or something in your car, you don't need a bottle opener and a file to go to court or do anything, edc fags are almost as bad as the british
I keep an Alox SD on my keychain all the time so I have it. It’s the size of a key. I always have a knife or multitool on me as well. Getting the jetsetter tool set in Alox is a win because the plastic scale ones I have to use the victorinox key ring on my key ring but with the Alox I don’t have to. I am not some weirdo who carries a bunch of crap. That stays in the truck. I don’t even carry a flashlight as the phone works ok.
PS I fix, screw, and cut stuff all the time. I largely have switched from a knife to a multitool and both the tools I carry the most, the leatherman P2 and leatherman bond, both don’t have a small Phillips so I like the tool (in addition to easily opening a bottle cap without taking out my leatherman or using a lighter or something).

if you have something that needs screwing or cutting and can be done with a key sized bullshit knife you aren't doing anything important, go get a real fucking tool
Reading comp? I use my leatherman to do that. The keychain knife is for the scissors and with the new one bottle opening and small Phillips (it works on #2 if they just need tightening).

Makes sense. The blade on those is borderline unusable. You’re better off having a dedicated folder and then the Swiss army “knife” is a useful multitool that you can actually carry around as opposed to a leatherman.
