At what point do you kill your family dog?

Unfortunately, she has a collapsing trachea, which will progressively worsen until it suffocates her to death. Could be months, could be years. In the meantime, I can pay $5,000 for a tracheal surgery which could more or less “cure” the issue but even then she’s looking at maybe 5 years tops. I’m also Poor. If not, I recommend some veterinary schools. They may be cheaper, especially if you allow them to work with students on the dog (it would be supervised by faculty). |
