I don't recall what inspired me to buy tickets to this concert. I only have memories of the taxi ride to the stadium, the stadium grounds, and the roadies. The roadies were memorable because Koreans thought they were the band members. If a white guy walked on stage with a guitar, people just assumed it was a member of the band, and they'd start cheering like mad.

The show itself was inside one of the leftover stadiums South Korea built for the 1984 Olympics. That was the worst part. All these empty stadiums were located in a giant cement park, and all of them were vacant. Moreover you could see the cement and shit was in disrepair, the plumbing was busted, all of it, so there was no hope they'd ever be used again. It took me a long time to find the concert venue, because it was the only stadium that wasn't falling apart and had lights on at night. The show itself sucked so much that I forgot about it the next day. Metallica sucks live.

Imagine walking through this enormous empty space where you can't see SHIT in the distance except some lights.

It's worse. There's not a lot of room in Korea as it stands. The fucking angles at which they'll dig into mountains makes you gasp. Nonetheless this yuge flat chunk of Seoul is a an empty cement lot.

"the Olympic pool remains an active sport and leisure site, receiving over 4,000 users daily."

As soon as I noticed bands were selling vinyl, I bought. It wasn't recently that demand shot up.

Metallica never sold shit except t-shirts and tour brochures. I had one at some point, I should look for it.

The Rolling Stones let you sign up for a Rolling Stones Visa credit card at the stadium, god damn
