Date: November 25th, 2025 10:23 AM Author: Elite Motley Lay the hotel industry is odd. when i was in biglaw, we represented a bunch of hotels, and i've represented them in labor matters throughout my career. they're generally owned by groups of rich people, who don't operate them. then there may be a hotel "flag" on the hotel but the hotel isn't actually run by the company (e.g., a hyatt hotel might not actually be operated by hyatt). there is often some management company like Dicksucker Hospitality, LLC that runs and operates a bunch of brand-name hotels, but sometimes the brand name does it.
and sometimes the mgmt company contracts out all or part of the workforce. hence the people with face tattoos. they do tend to be utterly useless workers. |
