"Some" evidence says it helps with anxiety, stress, and sleep issues. Also increases T levels in some people. But i don't know anything about supplements so I can't figure out how strong this evidence is.

never tried it but its NIH page seems to point to the evidence being moderately strong but needing more research: https://ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/Ashwagandha-HealthProfessional/

what do you want to use it for specifically? lifestyle changes are almost always more effective than any pills/supplements for the issues you mention

Stress and anxiety/panic attacks. It's reached the point where my doctor has me taking benzos daily, but I get rebound anxiety and am dreading coming off this shit. Therapy didn't help, SSRIs didn't do anything, etc. Daily exercise helps somewhat.

It was the first supplement I started taking a few years ago and it seemed to help a lot. Either it works or it had a very strong placebo effect for me. Now I use it along with creatine, tongkat, shilajit, and a D3 complex, all of which are the ones with the strongest evidence of helping T levels.

I usually let the bottle of it run out and then wait a month before getting more because there is one case of a liver issue some had while taking it. I think it’s probably not causally related but they tell you not to take it nonstop the way you can with some of the others.

The one and only supplement I've ever taken that has an obvious effect is magnesium. Try that, it will help chill you out before bed. Do not eat before bed! Don't drink booze or have caffeine.
