But his video is a warning to other GOPs going into the midterms and 2028. And he is right. Trump is spending most of his time on international stuff and vengeance prosecutions. Neither wins elections. It's always a trap for any president to start spending too much time overseas than dealing with problems at home. He should be talking US domestic issues day in day out to keep his low propensity voters on board.
I do think his administration has done some great things and setting the framework for lasting meaningful reform for certain subjects, which badly needed to happen, but they need to keep winning elections and you win those on economy and not being weirdly obsessive about pet issues that most voters don't care about. And that is what Vivek is warning. |
