Cliffs: the "Benin Bronzes" were looted by the British and displayed in Germany and other Birdshit countries. Cause of Saint Floyd BS they decided the "right thing" to do was return them no conditions asked. They also donated $25m to build a museum in literal Niggastan (Nigeria) to display the bronzes.
Well, as soon as they gave the Bronzes back some descendent of some nigga King said they were his, the Nigerian govt agreed, and now the Bronzes are held in his palace and no one can see them.

same same
Andreas Goergen, a former secretary general of the German Federal Ministry for Culture and the Media, said: “Dealing with the art objects of traditional rulers is difficult for any republic. Germany took 100 years to reach an agreement with the Hohenzollerns [the German imperial dynasty that was overthrown at the end of the first world war]. Nigeria took four to reach an agreement with the Oba of Benin. So, no reason to be snooty.”

“The public display of artefacts looted by British colonial forces at the new Museum of West African Art was supposed to be the crowning glory of a decades-long restitution effort. What went wrong?”
Oh, I think we know what went wrong.
