The reported inflation rate is still close to 3%, and the stock market is still juiced to the gills after all of the money printing the last 5 years. We don't need lower inflation rates to throw things further out of whack.

Stock market is definitely inflated. Ur insane if you’re not taking profits right now and waiting for the next collapse.

You could have said the same thing--about taking profits now--on about 90% of days since 2012, when we blew past pre-2008 stock market levels. Sure, there could be a 20% or 30% downturn at some point. There just isn't enough clarity that it will happen before the market goes up another 30% or 40% in the meantime. BTW, 40% is how much the market us up just in the last 2 years, and that's with a mini-crash earlier this year.

cr. there’s nowhere else to park money. That’s why PE ratios have been 35 for a decade instead of the historical 15/20

I remember reading stock quotes in the newspaper with my dad and him explaining P/E and that 10-20 was a good target. Now everything is fraudlies and companies with no net earnings in any year, ever, are worth millions and billions.

No - PE ratios are relatively high historically because big tech makes up such a large portion of the S&P

but why are big tech PE ratios so high when their earnings grow by about the same amount as GE and Proctor & Gamble did in the 1980s?

fundamentals are turning to shit. the trade war bullshit is all fun and games when it's talk but that shit is actually starting to kick in and hurting businesses bottom lines and consumers as well. it's not sustainable.

According to Trump and the former ivermectin experts (now economics experts) rates should only ever be cut. They should never be raised or left the same. And Trump is a very stable genius and knows what he’s talking about.

They should keep rates high imo bc no one cares about proles therefore inflation is more important than jobs. If they want job creation then build factories or create more Healthcare bureaucracy.

Rates should probably go up at the rate we're going. It's all utter shit. Tariffs are going to fucking grind the economy to a halt, and costs are going up. It's the same shit Biden pulled with the "Inflation Reduction Act" but different levers fucking us. These FUCKING BOOMERS.
