I had to figure it out myself. When I was young, sure, I was aware of Jewish stereotypes and some anti-semitic jokes, but I didn't think too much about it.

I've worked for several different companies over my nearly 20 year career, and all but one of them had Jewish CEOs. Most of the C-suite was Jewish usually as well.

The tipping point was working for a company with the largest number of Jews in upper management/the C-suite. Jewish employees were coddled and quickly promoted, despite some of them being clearly incompetent. High turnover for most of the non-Jews. The tribalism and sense of superiority among Jews at that company was undeniable. The greed of the CEO was laughable. And the entire company seemed to be built on puffery or outright lies if not fraud, which is how it was described by a friend in upper management who worked closely with the CEO. The entire company was a caricature of nearly every bad stereotype about Jews.

It later came out that the Jewish CEO of that company was hacking into some of its employees' private communications, likely to prevent any of its fraudulent activity being exposed. Court documents also showed that his Jewish co-founder threatened to murder a non-Jewish business partner who he screwed over.

Of course, the average Jew isn't a billionaire CEO who's extremely tribalistic and a con man, but I haven't been able to shake off my distrust/suspicion of Jews ever since then.
