It was my best day by far, I grossed ~$275
I generally had strong tips all day, capped off with a $42.50 tip to bring someone some late night Denny's and BWW. I almost wonder if they were drunk and passed out when I delivered it, I sent them one message about a delay at BWW and another message thanking them for the generous tip and got NOREPLYED both times. Who the fuck puts a massive tip on an order just to not talk to their Dasher?
I also got $27 to deliver someone 30 bags of mulch from Home Depot. That was an adventure, it barely fit in my car.

Usually, to gross ~$160 costs me ~$20 in gas. Yesterday I drove more than usual but the ratio was better than usual.
My car is on the older side so it's already incurred a lot of age-related depreciation. Any further mileage-related depreciation is vanishingly low, probably under 3 cents a mile. It probably costs me $5 in depreciation to make that $160. Tires/oil/repairs are what they are.
One nice thing is that this money is damn near tax free. I'm putting on so many business miles. The standard mileage rate is so much higher than what it actually costs me to run my car.
