wtf did he really get raped? i know he was on heroin for a while.
you'd have to know hardcore music to understand how odd it is that he knew these bands, but i talked to him one night for hours about Youth of Today, Bold, Into Another, etc. those are fairly obscure bands even for people who are into punk.
he was actually from baltimore, but i met him in NYC.

The alleged abuse led to a “lifetime of shame and embarrassment” for Ransone, who told Rualo his actions propelled him to become an alcoholic and a heroin addict. After getting sober in 2006, Ransone said he was “ready to confront” his past. He later reported the accusations to Baltimore County police in March 2020.
