the war plan drawn up as i understand it from what's available to the public is pretty minimal and conservative. no disastrous "nation building" project like with iraq; just air and missile strikes to hit regime targets and let the iranian people do the rest, if they so choose. a major difference vs the iraq situation:: targeting systems have substantially improved and decapitation strikes are available from a massive variety of launch platforms now
