Hill Country Fare is supposed to be the lowest tier

Then Mi Tienda

Then regular H-E-B brand

Then H-E-B Organics

Then Central Market

I was road tripping through Texas from New Jersey and noticed the HEB pickles use yellow number 5 for coloring whereas Vlasic and other traditional pickle brands use tumeric extract. Thoughts?

Vlasic pickles are disgusting and overpriced. I can get 2x as much from H-E-B than I can from the 2-packs at Costco’s. Don’t fall for the pickle scam.

Dude I don’t know about that. A couple trips ago I got some pickles that were H-E-B brand, but they’re good. Vlasic is too expensive, Del Dixi is gross and tastes radioactive.

I've met tons of people that don't consume artificial dyes, meats, only prefer organic, locally sourced meat, etc. I think plenty of White people consider things other than price but agree that muds/beaners/niggers only just by the cheapest shit (usually from the nearest Dollar Store or Gas Station) they can

Yeah I only consider price. I don’t read ingredient labels, but I also don’t eat too much packaged foods. Packaged food we get are like: Dijon mustard (buy grey poupon, specifically the stone ground in the jar), mayonnaise (get Duke’s or Hellman’s), pasta sauce (H-E-B store brand), pickles are just pickles man, same with pickled peppers, pepperacinis, chipotle peppers in adobe, black beans, chick peas, kidney beans, great northern beans, red beans. Get vegetable stock and chicken stock in the container. Get coffee in the container. That’s about it

HEB could package feces in a jar, slap a lone star on it, and Texans will eagerly buy it.

I don’t know about that. There are plenty of H-E-B branded products that flop spectacularly. They try to hawk jalepenos, halved with cream cheese inside and bacon wrapped for a big premium and nobody buys them. They have brisket queso trays that nobody buys. They try to sell hatch pepper branded items that everyone ignores. Texans are pretty savvy. H-E-B may draw a lot of water, but Texans are fickle and will walk right by the store offerings if they’re not top shelf.

HEB was so 180

Texas is completely uninhabitable now due to beaners and turds but it was great while it lasted
