question is whether the dad will go down.
it's astounding that this entire family got ended by this. they're all going to rot in prison LJL. |

i bet she's so delusional that she thinks that (1) she has a chance of getting this overturned on appeal and/or (2) she can talk her way out of prison and get put on probation.
and from what i saw of the trial, her legal team was utter trash. others have pointed this out, but cappelman was leading the shit out of many of her witnesses. how were they not objecting to that? the closing was trash too. "there's no evidence that donna told someone that she did it, so you have to acquit!" |

During some of the recorded "bump" conversations, several times either Donna or Charlie said something to the effect of, "We can't tell Dad about this. He will freak out." And Harvey was also at the airport with a one-way ticket to Vietnam in hand, but they only arrested Donna.
It would be fascinating to know how much Harvey knew about the murder-for-hire plot and when he found out. I have to think he eventually knew something. But at the bare minimum, there isn't enough evidence to convict him in court. And I think there is a very strong possibility that either he didn't know about the plot or he only found out about it years afterward. |
