That's right. All your performance gains only happen at low resolutions. At 1440p you can use a 4th gen i7, it won't matter you stupid fucks.

Calm down bitchtits. I was only shopping around, I haven’t bought anything. You can’t even get an RTX 50 series under $3k afaict so why bother.

Ryzen 5600x costs $150 and a RTX 4070 is still your best buy if you want a new GPU with the latest and greatest features. Mine is idling at 13W and maxes out around 190. The 4070 Super is an energy hog and has no benefits.

Gen Won.

I would have so much fun testing that CPU.

Also you have two top tier media engines: one in the iGPU, the other in the 5070. That means you can passthrough the 5070 to a VM and use it to run LLMs while using the iGPU to do everything else. You can put Open WebUI in the VM and access your LLM from any web browser on your network. If your router supports Wireguard or OpenVPN, you can tunnel into your home network on the go and still access Open WebUI. 16gb VRAM on the 5070ti should be enough run Gemma 3 27b.

yep I'm gonna have a hell of a time playing with this thing. the NPU is only 13 TOPs sadly but the CPU/GPU is more than capable of ML/DL compute and absolutely smokes AMD in this respect.
