Also, aren't Jewish academics very disproportionately over-represented among Nobel prize recipients? What about the over-representation among billionaires? Haven't very Jewish faculties been treating other Jews very favorably when granting tenure? Economically, don't Jews do much better than the average American? etc. |

You might think that this was true anti-semitism where it was impossible for Jews to get admitted to some schools, but the real story is much different: the schools were like, "holy shit we have way too many fucking Jews considering how few of them there are in this country." If anything, it was an early form of affirmative action with the intention of the schools more closely reflecting the demographics of the country, not some witch hunt against Jews.
