They do vary considerably in storytelling/perspective. Laura Derns character has considerably more agency and is an active participant in her rabbit-hole nightmare that the entire story centers around. And, of course, the four layers of reality/story.🤷♀️
Lost Highway is definitely a simpler story and PA functions more as the object/person of focus than the main protagonist. Its more raw and easier to follow, idk
Honestly, IE feels like a fully matured, fleshed out manifestation of the ideas in both movies. |
